About Sam
I live in Goring by Sea, just a few minutes from the beach, with my family and two dogs.
I am based at home, in a newly converted, specially designed dog grooming salon, which is both safe and fully equipped with the highest quality equipment. Prior to being a dog groomer, I worked for 10 years in a support teaching role, at a local primary school. I have always dreamed of a career with dogs so when I heard about the OCN Level 3 course at South Coast Dog Grooming Academy, I knew this was the opportunity to follow my passion, as well as run my own business from home.
Having grown up with dogs (Beagles and Springer Spaniels) and now owning two dogs (a 7 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and an 13 year old mixed breed Terrier), I am confident with dog handling and have become accustomed to many dog traits and behaviours.
The Level 3 OCN London Accredited course has enhanced my knowledge of breed and coat types, common skin conditions and grooming techniques.
Being a particularly practical and hands on course, it has enabled me to offer high standards, combined with flexibility to adapt any groom to your needs – whether you are looking for a breed standard cut or a more practical pet cut for your beloved dog.
If you entrust me with your dog, they will have a one-to-one experience, in a calm home salon environment. I never overlap appointments to keep anxieties to a minimum.
I will always put your dog’s welfare first and do my best to make sure they have a positive experience - as well as sending them home looking and smelling gorgeous!
